About Us

Lisa Link is a special educator and consultant with over three decades of experience with youth with complex health, learning, mental health and behavioral needs from ages three to adult. Lisa is adept at using her deep knowledge from decades of experience to support growth and development through collaborative partnerships with all. Lisa has a passion for making difficult situations less so, by offering clarity and support grounded in her experience with high leverage practices. She enjoys working in home, business and school settings.

Lisa graduated with honors from Ripon College with a B.A. in Anthropology and from Cardinal Stritch University with an M.A. in Special Education. After practicing in Massachusetts in the 1990’s, Lisa earned a lifetime Special Education license from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in 1994. She retired from a three decades career as a special education teacher then became president of her consulting business, LAL Educational Consulting Services, LLC in 2022. In this role, Lisa provides a wide range of support services including coaching around behavior and instructional needs, teacher mentoring for new and struggling staff, and presenting for professional development topics related to IEP development and implementation and successful outcomes in a variety of contexts.
